Lets get started!

Today I got my books for teaching. I have to make an outline of what I am going to teach for the whole year by Monday! I feel a little overwhelmed. I am teaching 3rd grade math, science, and bible as well as 8th grade literature. This is going to be a huge challenge but I´m so excited and ready to start! Today until Monday I will be working hard on those lesson plans!

The other missionary girls and me have been spending every night together in prayer and conversation. We eat and then bond! It is so great becuase we are all getting to know each other and becoming more comfortable every night. This is so awesome becuase when we are having hard times we have a little family to comfort eachother. I believe we are all here for a reason and God put each of us here specifically :)

It is overwhelming at first...but soon you will be a pro! If you ever have any questions or anything for sure ask! 3rd grade is really a fun grade to teach! I am so excited for you!

Oh I left some math workbooks in the library. You should be able to check them out. Its helps with teaching multiplication. I used a tone of worksheets. They are nice to send home with the homeworks sheets every Friday so they can practice over the weekended and then turn them into you on Monday.

How is the language teacher for 3rd? Is it Miss Graciela again?

Yes Miss Graciala is the 3rd grade language teacher. She is fine I think. The thing I'm having a hard time with right now is this: I gave them some classroom rules on the first day. Then I asked them to make some of their own rules for the classroom. Half of them had no idea what I was asking them to do. So now I'm wondering how on earth are they going to understand me explaining multiplication if they can't understand a simple task like that. I feel like I'm in trouble. Mindy I need some ADVICE!
